Welcome to our latest monthly NetSuite product update from Eureka Solutions. Each month, we bring you the latest features, enhancements, and important changes across NetSuite, helping you get more value from your system and stay up to date with the latest developments.
This month’s update includes new tax-inclusive pricing capabilities, AI-powered support recommendations, a refreshed NetSuite Help Centre experience, enhanced security options, improvements to item creation and manufacturing, expanded REST Web Services functionality, and greater visibility of AI-driven record changes.
NetSuite is introducing greater flexibility around how prices are managed with the new Tax Inclusive Pricing feature.
The new functionality allows businesses to set tax-inclusive prices against items and use them across both purchasing and sales processes.
Key features include:
Discounts, shipping, and handling amounts follow the tax setting on the transaction. For example, when the “Prices include Tax” checkbox is selected, any discount amount entered will also be treated as tax inclusive.
The feature requires SuiteTax and must be enabled through the tax section of Enable Features.
Tax Inclusive Pricing is not compatible with Advanced Pricing or Time Tracking. CSV Import compatibility is expected to follow in a future minor release.
The exact availability date for this feature is currently unclear, so organisations should refer to the relevant NetSuite 2026.2 information for the latest details.
NetSuite continues to expand its use of AI to help users work more efficiently.
The new AI Support Recommendation: Similar Cases feature is designed to help support representatives save time when looking for resolutions to customer cases.
Using Similar Cases, support representatives can see the top five similar cases from the last 10,000 closed cases.
The feature is accessed through Narrative Insights, helping support teams find relevant previous cases without having to manually search through their case history.
The availability date for this feature is currently unclear.
NetSuite is introducing a new Help Centre experience, targeted for 26 October 2026.
The updated NetSuite Help Centre will provide search results across a wider range of NetSuite resources, making it easier to find relevant information.\
Search results will include:
Search results will also indicate the type of article, helping users identify the most relevant information.
Only Product – Help articles and Product – Release notes will appear in the Help Centre table of contents.
If you need to submit a support case for NetSuite, the new Help Centre includes a Get Support button in the top-right corner.
Selecting this button opens the Support Request form in SuiteAnswers, where you can enter the details of your support request.
Security continues to be an important area of development within NetSuite.
As of 21 September 2026, administrators have the option to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users across all Employee roles in their accounts.
This gives administrators the option to apply 2FA more broadly across their NetSuite environment.
The Item Creation Assistant has been enhanced to support additional item types and improve the item review process before creation.
The additional item types now supported include:
NetSuite has introduced a new Production Control Board, providing a central place to review key work order information.
The dashboard is available from: Transactions > Manufacturing > Production Control Board
The Insights subtab includes a range of charts, including:
The Work Orders subtab allows users to review work orders by status, including active, in-process, ready, recently completed, and work orders to release.
The Risk column helps identify late starts, late completions, and component shortages, providing greater visibility of potential production issues.
NetSuite has expanded REST Web Services functionality to support File Cabinet records.
The NetSuite File Cabinet allows businesses to store and organise documents and files, with most File Cabinet folders able to be restricted by the folder owner or an administrator.
With this update, REST Web Services can be used to access and work with File Cabinet records, including files and folders.
NetSuite provides a document service through REST Web Services to enable access to File Cabinet records.
As AI features become increasingly integrated into NetSuite, the system now provides greater visibility of changes made using AI.
System Notes and System Notes v2 now provide information about record changes made by artificial intelligence features.
When a user creates, changes, or deletes a record using an AI feature, the AI Used column identifies the name of the feature responsible for the change.
This provides an additional level of visibility into AI-driven changes made to records within NetSuite.
The NetSuite 2026.2 upgrades are currently in progress.
As your organisation moves through the upgrade, it is worth taking the time to review the new functionality available and consider how these enhancements could be used within your NetSuite environment.
From tax-inclusive pricing and AI-powered support recommendations to manufacturing dashboards and expanded REST Web Services functionality, this release includes a range of updates across different areas of NetSuite.
