Graduate Programme
NetSuite Sales Director
BA (Hons) International Business and Modern Languages
University of Strathclyde
I started in 2007 as a Marketing Assistant and moved into various roles including sales, support, and implementation before settling on sales as my preferred role. I have worked across all sales functions – sales, account management and pre-sales, and now I lead the sales team for our NetSuite division.
I was looking for my first job in marketing after graduating for university and Eureka Solutions had advertised for their first dedicated marketing resource. The company was small at the time with around 7 employees, was growing quickly and was focused on technology, which I had always been interested in. I therefore felt like it was an ideal opportunity for me to get experience in marketing while also being involved and having responsibility from day one.
I head up the NetSuite sales team, which involves giving guidance and support to my team, whilst also still working with potential and existing customers to review how they could enhance their systems with the software and services that we provide. I also work closely with our marketing team to ensure we are focused on the right target markets to generate opportunities for new business, manage day to day NetSuite partner relationship with Oracle, and provide reports to the leadership team on Sales performance and forecasts.
After 15 years I still learn something new every day. NetSuite and our customers are constantly evolving so there are always new features, processes, and customer requirements to learn. We come across a diverse range of new potential customers on a weekly basis, so it is always great to learn about new industries and ways of doing business.
