Sage Into The Future

Last week we welcomed our customers at our Sage into the Future event.

Sage into the Future was designed to be an educational experience, demonstrating how Sage software can be leveraged to support the growth and success of businesses in years to come, whilst offering expert advice on how our customers can improve processes and use the software to its fullest potential.

Held at the Falkirk Wheel; the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, which connects the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals, we felt this iconic Scottish landmark was the perfect backdrop to our forward-thinking, technological event.

Sage 200c

Sage Channel Enablement Manager Johnathan Denton opened proceedings with a demonstration showcasing the key features of the newly launched Sage 200c system which include enhanced invoicing capabilities and error correction. Jonathan also gave us a look into the Sage roadmap which details the commitment Sage have made to continually enhance the system over the coming months and years.

Eureka Addons

Next up was our own Sage Channel Manager Allan James who gave a demonstration of our award-winning Eureka Addons for Sage 200, including our Plus Pack consisting of over 80 features which enhance all aspects of Sage 200, Sales Order Plus which gives users the functionality to process orders up to ten times faster and our newly launched Courier Link Addon which allows users to prepare and arrange goods to be collected and despatched by couriers.

Jade Turley, Channel Account Manager of our Business Partner Panintelligence educated our guests on the power of Business Intelligence and how the simple yet powerful Panintelligence dashboard can give businesses valuable insight into their performance in real-time. She also discussed the topic of GDPR regulation and how their software adheres to this new legislation.

Our Business Partner Draycir closed proceedings with a presentation on their newly updated Spindle Document Management system for Sage 200 and Sage 200c. Strategic Alliance Manager Richard Haywood gave insight into how Spindle can streamline and enhance business processes, automating the distribution of outgoing, and capture of incoming documents in Sage 200. He also demonstrated how their software utilises Optical Character Recognition to automate data capture and increase accuracy.

Sage into the Future

We ended the day by inviting our guests to join us on a boat trip on the Falkirk Wheel itself, lifting them 35 metres in the air, giving stunning views across the Stirlingshire countryside including the iconic 30-metre-tall horse head Kelpies sculptures.

Sage into the Future achieved exactly what we had intended, providing our customers with an open forum to network and learn how Sage software can be used as a tool to help them achieve their goals, whilst spending some quality time with them outside the office, appreciating the engineering achievements of our fellow Scots.
