Following a series of exciting new releases in partnership with big names such as Sony Pictures, nDreams have taken major steps in continuing their fast growth track. With recent major business decisions, setting up subsidiaries and targeting a staffing increase from 60 to 220 in the next year, nDreams have experienced an evident need to switch to a more sophisticated and intelligent financial system.

Caroline Whillock, Senior Finance Consultant, is a new addition to the nDreams finance team for the duration of the system change project, lending her expertise with the support of the permanent finance team. On review of Eureka Solution’s case studies and in particular that of Ageas Bowl, an organisation Caroline is familiar with, she set out to look at what Eureka Solutions could offer through the implementation of Oracle’s NetSuite system.

Caroline explained the company has outgrown their current financial system, making it no longer fit for purpose. nDreams’ current system is two dimensional; with no ability to perform consolidations or track the business on the intricate level necessary. Stimulating this system change was the finance team spending too much time on lengthy, manual calculations. It was clear that change was necessary for the business to improve efficiency and continue their fast growth path.

After demonstrations performed by the Eureka Solutions team, it was evident that the NetSuite system has the required functionality to meet nDreams’ needs with the ability to perform consolidations and group tax reporting, enabling the nDreams’ finance team to move away from lengthy excel spreadsheets. NetSuite’s ability to provide accessibility to key financial data, allowing for increased ease of reporting was crucial.

Caroline stated that the highly integrated nature of NetSuite was essential in the decision to switch system because, “At nDreams everything is growing and evolving very quickly, so we needed a system which can keep up.”
